I'm doing it out of neccessity. Today is day one. It's almost 12:35 & I'm not the slightest bit hungry (physically hungry that is). And no I haven't cheated either. I haven't been hungry in nearly 2 years. So will someone please tell me why I continue to eat?
What is the 5 day pouch test? I get hungry and I love food, just not as much as I used to. I had a eating problem for a few dyas- overeating due to stress- my pup almost died, but she's ok now!

So...I just found out that the church has a 12 step program for "overeaters"/ emotional eaters. There is a brochure you can get that takes you through the steps. I have been dieting for almost 2 weeks now, and I need to get to the root of the problem emotionally or i'll get fat right back again. So...bottom line...if you don't deal with the emotional crap that causes us to eat in the first place, you'll always struggle. (Dr. Kristi) heh heh

Maija, the 5 day pouch test is essentially a carb cleanse to help you get back on track. http://www.5daypouchtest.com/plan/days1_2.html
So far so good. Having lots of head hunger but no physical hunger. Having a sick doggie is like having a sick baby!! So glad to hear she's ok.
Kristi, I agree with you to an extent. I have been working with someone for a month or two now and I've come to realize that I have an addiction. I'm starting to think that it's something people are born with. While there are certainly a number of things in my life that could be blamed for this addiction, I'm starting to think that these events only brought this problem to the surface instead of causing it. Does that make sense?
